Terms and Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival package being held in Singapore, 6-13 April 2025. By purchasing and placing a booking with Golden Oldies Sports & Events (GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED) you agree to be bound by each of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

References to Golden Oldies, us, we and our, are to Golden Oldies Sports & Events (GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED), and references to you, participant, player, non-player and team, are to you as the customer those purchases (or otherwise obtains) a package from GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED.

Reference to “Festival” relates to the Golden Oldies Rugby Festival as organised by GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED. and includes event suppliers and all components of the event.  

KEY ENTRY AND BOOKING TERMS: 

Teams: A non-refundable registration/entry fee of SGD$250 per team is payable on receipt of a completed Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival 2025 registration form. Upon receipt of the Team Registration and entry fee, your entry will be acknowledged and recorded as participants in the Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival 2025.

Individuals: A non-refundable registration/entry fee of SGD$55.per individual is payable. Upon receipt of an Individual registration/entry Fee, your entry will be acknowledged and recorded as a participant in the Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival 2025.

Individual team members agree to allow GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED to provide summary of a team/individual financial statement on a regulated schedule to the designated Team Manager named on the Team Registration/Entry form.

Entry to the Festival is deemed to be by invitation only and GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED reserves the right to decline any entry.

All participants are responsible for:

  • Making full payment for the package purchased, including any cancellation or amendment charges.

  • All persons participating as players, participants or registered supporters must agree to the Terms and Conditions, including Waiver and read and agree to the GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED. Policy.

  • Submitting an entry either as a team or as an individual.

  • Selecting and purchasing one of the packages provided by the organisers – this is compulsory.

  • Taking sole responsibility for their own actions and/or inactions in relation to participation in the Festival and the Festival’s related activities

  • Providing a unique mobile number and email address for each person at time of booking i.e. the mobile number and email address must be different for each person within the booking.

All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are on a per person basis. Package prices are based on the maximum occupancy of each room type. E.g., twin/double rooms must have two bookings per room. Packages are sold as per person twin/double room share. Single room accommodation is available only on application.

Our agreement with you begins upon receipt of team or individual registration and entry fee/deposit and/or full payment. After placing a booking, you will receive:

  • A booking confirmation email which details the inclusions of the package(s) purchased.

  • The applicable invoice and/or receipt.

  • Payment requirements.

  • These should be checked very carefully and if any details are incorrect you must inform us within five working days.

  • Please see the payment schedule for payment deadlines.

While we will do everything possible to secure your preferred hotel and room configuration. We may be unable to guarantee these requests due to prior bookings and limitations on the number and types of rooms available.

Hotel and facility descriptions on the GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED website and other publications are based on current hotel guides and information provided by suppliers and may change at any time. Published images on the website or printed material may not show the room, décor, view, or other specifications included in your chosen package.


DEPOSIT & PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

At the time of registration/entry, teams are required to pay a non-refundable registration/entry fee of SGD$250 per team or SGD$55 per individual entry.

Upon selection of preferred accommodation from the packages listed on the website a SGD$300. deposit of the package cost is required to confirm and secure the accommodation chosen. If there is not sufficient availability for that choice an alternative will be recommended. (See below for Cancellation & Refund Terms).

Participants are required to choose a payment option. Regardless of payment option chosen, full payment of all packages must be received by GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED by 30 November 2024.

Notes:
GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED. are not liable for remitting bank fees and credit card transaction fees, please make any arrangements necessary to cover such fees.

Late payments will be subject to a 5% late payment fee at the discretion of the organisers.

If GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED has not received payments within the time frames outlined above, GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED reserve the right to cancel the participants booking.

Deposits and payments are transferrable should a participant be unable to attend but finds someone to take their place. This only applies within the same Festival and package purchased. Monies cannot be transferred to future Festivals or another sport within the GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED family of brands.


INSURANCE:
Teams and individuals are required to purchase adequate insurance including travel, sports injury and cancellation cover and will be required to confirm insurance cover has been secured with the organisers 14 days prior to the Festival. GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED may request evidence of insurance policies prior to the commencement of the festival.

GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED recommend insurance has the below inclusions.

• Medical expenses and repatriation are covered in the case of infection with Covid 19

• Cancellation cover for other eventualities e.g., illness, broken bone, death of an immediate family member and any other situations NOT related to Covid that would cause you to cancel and as outlined in the individual insurance policy purchased.

 
PRICES: 
Please note that for contractual reasons, package price cannot be itemised. The package price only includes the services specified in your itinerary. Personal costs incurred during travel are excluded.

Any amendment made to the booking within 60 days of the commencement of the festival may incur an amendment fee of Singapore S$100. per amendment per person, in addition to any fees charged by suppliers.

Prices are based on supplier costs, exchange rates, taxes, levies, and surcharges at the time of publication. Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, inflation and/or increase in supplier costs and regulatory charges at any time until full payment is received.

If we advise you that the price of the Festival has changed substantially pursuant to this, you have the right to cancel your booking and we will refund your deposit and any monies paid to you subject to the cancellation terms in place.


CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
All cancellations must be advised in writing by email to Festival Event Director from the person that made the booking and are only effective from the date they are received by the GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED. office. 

Application of refunds:  

Many of our arrangements with suppliers are non-refundable and while we will pursue our suppliers for refunds, we are contractually bound, and refunds may not be possible

GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED. are not liable for remitting bank fees and credit card transaction fees, please make any arrangements necessary to cover such fees.

All cancellation arrangements are at the discretion of GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Participants acknowledge that they are personally responsible for their own fitness and should injuries be sustained during the festival, medical staff are authorised to provide required medical attention. Participants also acknowledge that any costs incurred because of medical attention required during a Festival will be their personal responsibility.

If individual participants become aware of any reasons (medical or otherwise) that would prevent them from participating in the Festival and the Festival’s related activities, it is their responsibility to withdraw from participation in the Festival and the Festival related activities.

UNUSED SERVICES
Once your package services have commenced, refunds will not be provided where due to illness or personal choice you do not utilise part of or all the package inclusions.  

CHANGES BY US
Because packages are planned several months in advance, we may occasionally need to make changes to package inclusions. We reserve the right to make changes to your itinerary at any time.

We will advise you of changes at the earliest possible date.

Some suppliers of the services included in your package reserve the right to cancel or amend the services they provide. As such, GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED will use reasonable endeavours to provide alternative services, however we cannot be held responsible for any such changes imposed by the supplier.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The services that we supply consist solely of:

• Arranging and coordinating travel, accommodation, game days and events

• Making bookings for participants for the provision of services and facilities by suppliers

We undertake to perform these services in accordance with the law, with reasonable care and skill. However, we will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from acts or defaults outside the control of GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED and its employees - including (but not limited to) suppliers of travel, accommodation, game days and events in connection with your package.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you and your party will be limited to the value of the total cost of your package or part thereof.

CONSENT TO PHOTOS:
Photographers and film makers may be in attendance during your Festival and may capture your image. It is a condition of purchase of a Festival package that you consent to use of your image and likeness by us for whatever purpose we see fit, including marketing our services in brochures and/or any website. If you do not wish to provide your consent, you must advise us prior to the travel date.

LEGAL CONTRACT:
When you make a booking with GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED, legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED, are limited by our terms and policies and by the conditions of the particular supplier.

You must not make any booking through this site unless you understand and agree to all of GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED Terms and Conditions. Once payment is made for the booking, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for the booking. If you have any queries, please contact GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED before making any booking for any service.

FESTIVAL RULES
Completion of the entry form and paying the entry fee of SGD$250. per team or SGD$55. per individual, confirms the participant(s) accept the terms and conditions of entry that follow:

All participants will be issued and must wear their official Festival approved lanyard that is pertinent to the specific package option selected. Participants not wearing the identity lanyard will not be permitted to access the options available in their package. This may include transport, functions, and game days. Accreditation is not transferable.

  • Any individual attempting to gain access to any aspect of the Festival with false or someone else’s accreditation will have it confiscated and be ejected from the Festival.

  • Any accreditation proven to have been given to another party for fraudulent reasons will be cancelled.

  • Minimum age for players is 35 years of age when participating in the Festival.

  • GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED may allow those under 35 years of age to participate, GOSE must receive a request in writing and will be taken on a case-by-case basis.

  • The players agree to abide by the rules and regulations established and promulgated by GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED.

  • GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED reserves the right to merge or regrade teams if deemed necessary.

  • All participants must purchase one of the packages provided by GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED (i.e., playing/functions package is the minimum).

MINORS
Due to alcohol licencing laws, supporters attending the festival that are under 18 years of age are prohibited from attending any Festival functions, including (but not limited to), Opening Ceremony, Big Day Out, and Finale & Awards Function

PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS
If your package includes services fulfilled outside your home country, you will need a current passport that must be valid for at least six months after your return home from the Festival.

Participants must check passport, visa, immigration, health, and customs regulations and requirements well in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct documentation to allow your entry overseas and/or return to your home country. 

FORCE MAJEURE
If we are delayed in or prevented from performing our obligations due to an event of force majeure (including, but not limited to, natural disasters, war or riots, closed or congested airports, or extreme health conditions or technical problems), then such delay or non-performance shall not be deemed a breach or entitle a claim for injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience.

Our obligations shall be suspended while such event of force majeure continues.

WAIVER, RELEASE & INDEMNIFICATION:
By having entry accepted to the festival, all participants agree to:

  • Waiver and release the Festival, its committee, its officers, directors, members, volunteers, employees, agents, sponsors, Singapore, GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED Office, Golden Oldies Sports & Events Limited and any and all of their executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns (“the Released Parties”) from any and all claims the team/individual may have against them as a result of participating in the Festival and any activities or events related to it, including, but not limited to, any costs, including lawyers’ fees, incurred as a result of any such claim, irrespective of that claim’s validity.

  • Indemnifies the Released Parties from and against all liabilities including any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges, and expenses which such Released Parties may suffer or incur as a result of any claims or proceedings brought, or threatened to be brought, against them by the Team/participant.

  • Releases and indemnifies the Released Parties from all liability that might result from any injury, accident, illness, or death during the Festival or any activity or event related to it.

  • The team/participant acknowledges that it has sole responsibility for its sporting equipment, goods, and possessions during the Festival and any activities or events related to it. No claim shall in any circumstances be made against the Released Parties in relation to the loss of, or damage to, any equipment, goods, or other possessions.

  • For the purposes of this document the Team shall include all members attending the Festival, both playing and non-playing, their executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns.           

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Except as required by law (and to the minimum extent required by law), neither party shall be liable to the other for any indirect or consequential losses, costs or damages that arise out of or that are in connection with any duty or obligation under these terms and conditions or any duty or obligation at law. To the extent that we have any liability to you under these terms and conditions or at law, that liability shall be capped to the amount that you have paid or is payable to us in accordance with these terms and conditions.

GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand law and the courts of New Zealand shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise from these terms and conditions. GO SPORTS RUGBY 2025 LIMITED act only as agents for the providers of air and ground services included in packages and will not be responsible for any injury, cost, damage or delay, which is the responsibility of any subcontractor engaged. Participants can choose to seek independent legal advice.
